What are the outcomes of urban flight?

Most urban migrates, based on their individual education do realize their dreams and build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities. Most professionals from Asia, Africa, Europe, etc., could attest to that.  For a majority of others, the road to the city leads to poverty, homelessness and tragedy such as prostitution and other ills. Other urbanization issues include access to clean water, sanitation, shelter, poverty, HIV/Aids and other host of problems few government bothers to tackle.

UN estimates about two-thirds of the world's population to live in cities within 50 years.
