Africa: Endowed with Riches & Culture, now the Sun is Rising

Africa, a continent endowed with immense natural and human resources as well as great cultural, ecological and economic diversity, remains underdeveloped. Most African nations suffer from military dictatorships, corruption, civil unrest, war, and deep poverty.

The majority of the countries classified by the UN as least developed are in Africa. Numerous development strategies have failed to yield the expected results. Although some believe that the continent is doomed to perpetual poverty and economic slavery, Africa has immense potential. http://www.globalpolicy.org/socecon/develop/africa/2006/0922gatesafrica.htm

Food, Water , Education by micro-targeting resources and involving  individuals either from the targeted areas that  holds potentials for water, food, and potential fertile agricultural land will prove to be the missing model that need to be used. In Africa, for reasons yet to be understood, education and knowledge is not necessarily trusted to help people. Indeed, most Africa failures is the corrupt entitlement bestowed to the ruling and educated class. Suffice to say the most honest people are the natives with traditional values of right and wrong. The missing component is education and that might overcome the corruption so prevalent across the continent. http://www.globalpolicy.org/socecon/develop/2006/0320uganda.htm

The African continent remains by and large marginalized in the world economy, with over half of the population living under US$1 a day per person. http://www.unctad.org/Templates/StartPage.asp?intItemID=2871&lang=1
